I was searching around for a fun challenge to play yesterday and I totally thumped myself upside the head for having remembered, at almost the last minute, The Play Date Cafe‘! I just love color challenges and the CURRENT one (PDCC148) just made me squeal. Take a look at this pic and you’ll see what I mean:

I absolutely fell in love with these colors. This was one of the easiest cards to put together. I wish I would have thought of this color combo myself, because I just adore it so very, very much. It’s just gorgeous! Thank you Play Date Cafe’! xoxo

This is what I did with their beautiful palette of colors: Navy Blue, Peach & Stone….

I love these My Mind’s Eye papers and how beautifully they work together even though one is from a different line. The denim looking paper along with the pearls; glimmery ribbon and baker’s twine; clean lines of embossing with the tattered edges of distressing, I think, just add to the shabby-chic look of this card. I absolutely LOVE this card!! Just looking at it speaks to my soul. It’s just a “me” card. Heehee!!
