As you know I’m taking the AWESOME Online Card Class Clean and Simple Cardmaking – 2. Well, today is day 2 and after what I thought was a fabulous idea that totally flopped on me I went back in and tried something else.
Today was all about creating one-layer cards. I don’t really have TOO much of a problem with this, although it’s not my preference. But, I wanted to try a few of the really cool ideas that our fabulous teacher’s gave us. So, after the above-mentioned flop, I created this:
It’s not exaaaactly what I had in mind, but I still really like it. I *DID* use a die to make sure that the heart was the right size, and, well, because I can’t free-hand for beans. I like that you can still see some of the lines of the water-color pencils, too, and that they’re not super blended. Does that make sense?
Thanks for having a look & for hanging in there with me while I get my blog & site all fixed up. You all rock my socks off! ♥
All the best,
Lisa ♥

I would say this card is a hit! Glad you persevered!
Uh – Yeah, I love this card! You rocked it!
This is beautiful! So glad that the class inspired you to create this and show all of us! For those who aren’t taking the class, it’s great to see what you’re learning!
I think it’s really pretty and so artsy.
Great job!
LOVE! It’s so pretty! I like how you can see some of the lines too. Nice work!
I love this clean and simple card. I understand wanting to add more to it. I am not good at simple cards.
This is gorgeous! I can’t freehand OR watercolor for beans, so you are my hero, girlie!
And I LOOOVE that you left the pencil lines, too… adds some great definition! CAS, one-layer perfection. xo
Not what you had in mind? I’d love to see inside your mind, because this is the most gorgeous Valentine card I’ve seen all year. Stunning!!! And I agree that the pencil lines are great too. ox
Super gorgeous! I love your heart mist
Three great posts! Consider me a subscriber!
I am so happy I decided to hop along with Teri’s blog hop today because I found your wonderful blog!
This card makes me happy because you can see the rings around the heart- it’s like rings of a tree, growing larger in time, just like love should be! It is perfect!
