Bloom Girl Collage Canvas

Happy Monday!! I’m so excited to bring you a brand new project on the Bloom Girls Design Team blog . I made a Bloom Girl collage canvas featuring Paige. There is a step-by-step tutorial on the blog showing how to create it, too.

Here is how the canvas turned out:

Sometimes I like taking the “more is more” approach and sometimes I like taking the “less is more” approach. This one was very middle of the road.  I wanted the focus to be on her face, the flowers, and the coffee cup. Using the Bloom Girls products by Jamie Dougherty gives you a lot of creative freedom. And with collages, canvases, mixed media projects, and cards it’s all very easy. This canvas is perfectly sized at 5″ x 7″.

Be certain to stop by the blog to get the steps on how I made my Bloom Girl Collage Canvas , to see a few close-ups, and the full product list, too.

Wishing you all a WONDERFUL week!

Gardenia Bloom Girl

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! :) I have a brand spankin’ new post featuring the Gardenia Bloom Girl on the Bloom Girls Design Team Blog. For today’s post, I’m using one of my very favorite techniques to create the background using Gelatos®. So, if you have hopped to my blog for the Seasons Givings Blog Hop (the post below this one) today’s post for the Bloom Girls features a technique to learn in case YOU are the lucky winner. :)

I love this stamp. If you’re into making cards, layouts, art journals, or canvases the Gardenia Bloom Girl is a wonderful size. You can use the entire length of it for a canvas, art journal or layout. OR…just pick a smaller portion to stamp (like her beautiful face!) for a card. The card that I made is a standard A2 size. (4 ¼ x 5 ½”)

Here is a (very generous) sneak peek of this beauty:

LisaAdametz-Gardenia-Create-2I really hope that you’ll pop on over to see how this technique is done. I have a YouTube video showing how I made a similar background on my YouTube channel that is shown on the blog post as well. ALL of my videos can be found under the yellow header on the right “Follow Me On:” and clicking the YouTube icon.

Enjoy the card and I’ll see you back here soon!

**Don’t forget I’ll be announcing the winner of the giveaway in January 8th.**
