Love Tag

Busy week! I’m back again with another project to share. :) Today’s is for the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Design Team. It’s a Love Tag.

Sometimes I don’t feel like making a card or a canvas and I love the vertical space of a tag. Especially the #10 tags (8 ½” L x 4 ⅛” W). I make my own using chipboard so they can hold up to all my schtuff (haha!), but you can always buy them, too.

For my tag today I wanted to make something really special, but NOT especially difficult. I like to use unconventional colors and find different ways of using things. Try to think outside the box…or frame in the case of this Love Tag. ;)

As usual…just a peek. But I promise it will be worth it. ;)LisaAdametz-LoveTag-Blog-1So many cool things on this Love Tag! Texture, shimmer, color. This is a tag that begs to be touched…to BE loved! Are you getting the idea here?

Please check out the step-by-step on how I made it, with some additional photos on the BLOG.

And, as always, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to hear from you.

It’s a New Card Monday

Hey there! It’s a New Card Monday!! I’m so proud of the one that I have to share on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today. I gotta tell ya, I’m not always super thrilled by the cards that I make. Sometimes I like parts of them, sometimes I like the technique, or sometimes I wish I could just throw them away (it happens), but I really do LOVE the way that this card turned out. Lots of cool stuff going on with it, too.

Here’s your sneak peek:

This card is really dimensional, shiny, shimmery and super pretty. I hope that you’ll all go over to the Scrapbook Adhesives blog to see the whole thing. :)

I’ll also have a UStream this week with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® THIS Wednesday at 6:00 PM PST. But check out THEIR blog just in case things change.  Maybe “New Card Monday” will be something I’ll have to do every week….hmmm….I’ll give it some thought.

Wishing you ALL an amazing week. xoxo

Hazel & Ruby Blog Hop

Hi everyone! I’m up on the Design Memory Craft blog today as we participate in a blog hop this week with Hazel & Ruby. It’s been a super creative week already and I’m super excited to be playing along in this hop. LOTS of fun things to be creating with.

I made a really fun and easy canvas using supplies from both companies.

I think it’s super cool! But someone (who lives in my house that is not my cats) was telling me that it looks like it says “She scared”. That kind of bummed me out. In which case, I change the color scheme to orange and black and make it a Halloween canvas, I guess. *sigh*

Whatever! I like it! And *I* think SHE SOARED!! Please go over to the blog to see how easy a canvas like this (soaring or not) is to make. ;) Plus, there’s lots of prizes, too! Comment here and tell me I’m not crazy, then go over there and comment to WIN!! Yayayayayyy!!

Bloom Girl – Hope Canvas

Hi crafty friends. I hope you’ve had a great week. Mine has been exhausting! So many things going on! But one of the highlights has definitely been making this canvas using the Hope stamp for the Bloom Girls Design Team.

I used Gelatos® in Iced Chai, Iced Coffee (from the new Steampunk Collection), and Gold Champagne to create the background,  the Hope Bloom Girl Stamp was colored with Faber-Castell watercolor pencils, and then I added a variety of Jamie’s beautiful Bloom flowers to embellish.

Please check out the Bloom Girls blog for other angles, close-ups, and more information.

And don’t forget there’s still plenty of time to play in the August challenge. It’s a MONTH LONG CHALLENGE and tons of fun. Seriously…would I lie to you? No way!!

Have a fantastic weekend and I’ll see you next week with LOTS more. :)

Thanks a Million

I’m up on the Design Memory Craft® Blog today with this really cool “Thanks a Million” card and VIDEO that I made featuring the brand new Steampunk Gelatos® set.

Everyone is loving everything you can do with watercolors, but don’t forget how you can use your Gelatos® that way too! In my video I wanted to show that you can achieve the same watercolor “blocking” technique that I’ve seen all over the place with just four Gelatos®, watercolor paper, and acrylic block …the stamp set, white embossing powder, and clear embossing ink are nice, but not MUST haves. Okay, the stamp set is a MUST have. It’s just too awesome. ;)

Anyway, sit back, relax, and enjoy my video! And don’t forget to check out the Design Memory Craft® blog for a full view of the finished card. It’s even prettier in real life with all that metallic goodness.

I hope you enjoyed it!

And don’t all rush out to buy the Gelatos® AND that stamp set. Okay, okay…go ahead. But make sure you tell them that Lisa senta ya. :)

Have a beautiful week!
