Onto some craftiness!

I’m showcasing two stamp sets today.  Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Spa Day by Brandi Kincaid and Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Wonky Backdrops by Julie Ebersole.

The first card that I made just makes me giggle. I used Copic Markers to color the cutie from the Spa Day stamp set, the candle, some flowers and cucumbers. Then I used the coordinating die set and die cut them all out, plus the face mask. I also used the ARC Crafts Cherry wood Veneer Envelopes (what I had on hand) to die cut the mirror. Love that stuff and it makes the mirror more homey looking. The mirror’s bulbs were created using the 4mm Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh, and coloring them with a bright yellow Copic.

I also used the Essentials By Ellen Designer Dies by Brandi Kincaid Mirror, Mirror to create the mirror. The phenomenal quote is from the Spa Day Stamp Set.

My second card is a little bit different, but I hope you like it. I’m using the Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Wonky Backdrops by Julie Ebersole for this one.

The beautiful yellow cardstock was stamped in Versamark repetitively with the polka dots to form the background (using the MISTI) and then heat set using a clear embossing powder.

Then using the large dots from the set I used Distress Inks to create watercolor spots/blobs/dots. ;) Once dried, I stamped over them with Versamark using the sketchy wheel designs from the same set and heat embossed with a gold embossing powder. Using a stamped/heat embossed sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Mirror Mirror by Brandi Kincaid completed the card. I just love how graphic this card is and shows the many ways you can use the stamps from the Wonky Backdrops set.  It’s a keeper! HA!

I hope you enjoyed my cards today. I know I had fun creating them. This is a really great release that has something for everyone. So onto your NEXT stop! The always amazing Sandy Allnock!! Enjoy her wonderful creativity and the rest of the hop.

I am so excited to showcase the drop-dead GOR-JUS Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Season to Sparkle by Julie Ebersole and the coordinating die set Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Season to Sparkle by Julie Ebersole.  This set is so amazing. I think my jaw dropped when I saw it for the first time. So, so pretty! The sentiments included in the stamp set are just perfect, too.

I was going for a bit of a Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis feel with my watercoloring.  What do you think? And rather than use silver embossing powder I used pewter. I love that it’s a tad less “harsh” in tone. Y’know? The pewter EP looks phenomenal against the jewel tones from the cardstock and my Aurora, too. So happy with this card. :)
Here are what the stamp and die sets look like.season-to-sparkle_thumb

For my second card I used the stand alone Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Geo Tree by Julie Ebersole. This card is so much prettier than what you can see. Which bums me out. The tree behind the geometric tree is water-colored with Distress Crayons in bright Greens and Blues. And a few sequin “ornaments” have been hung. I love the effect.   The shiny bits are FOIL!!

lisaadametz-believe-10112016-blog

I wanted to keep this card simple, so NOT normal for me…I know! To do this the geometric tree shape was die-cut out of Essentials by Ellen, Woodgrain Embossed Cardstock. Everything was layered from the back panel up. And to add a bit of dimension? 3D Foam Adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®, of course. The final touch was a few more sequins and another stand alone die: Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Believe by Julie Ebersole.

I am so crazy excited to showcase the Mondo Peony Stamp by Julie Ebersole and Mondo Peony Die by Julie Ebersole for you today. The Mondo stamps have been so very popular and this one is sure to please, too.  The big, beautiful size of the stamps and dies will be a hit for mixed media AND stampers alike. I, personally, am in HEAVEN!! ♥

Mondo Peony

The largest flower is a MASSIVE 3½” x approximately 3¼”!! It truly is MONDO. (Julie wasn’t joking around.)

Here is a quick look at the Mondo Peony stamp set:

I am also thrilled to showcase another stamp set for all of you today and this one is called Stay Golden by Julie Ebersole. I utilized the matching die set, too, because they are so awesome.

I initially had so many ideas for this card it was hard to reign it in. I know that the pineapple trend is HUGE right now, but did YOU know that pineapples are a sign of hospitality and friendship? LINK I think that’s so cool!

The card that I made is so colorful and fun! I used Distress Crayons, the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors for the beautiful shimmery golds (on both cards, actually), and a mix of Distress Inks, and Lawn Fawn Inks. :) The Pineapple crown was created with a light green foil. Fun, huh?

Here is a look at the Stay Golden Stamp set:
