Hey! I have a new card on the YES Blog today. It features the Starter Set from Your Everyday Stamps. I used a lot of paper from the Open Book Collection by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper to make the card. And then I designed the card as if I were asking my sweetie out on a date. :)
Kinda cute, huh? I love that the Starter Set can be used not *just* for invitations but for cards, too. Just gotta think outside the box a little. And I’m a total outta the box thinker. :D
Come check out the close-up on the blog and all the other projects, too.
Yeah…It’s Planner Time! (Sing that to “It’s Hammer Time!“)
In case you didn’t know I’m a new Design Team member for a super cool new stamp company run by my friend, Ashley Harris, called Your Everyday Stamps. My inaugural post (<–click here!) as a DT member of the YES Team goes live TODAY and it’s featuring the Plan It Daily stamp set which is a really awesome planner set (see? Planner Time? Get it?). And since planners are all the rage with the cool kids I thought I’d do my own spin on it.
Since I’m more of a mixed media person and totally unorganized (though I have multiple planners) I had to do something I knew would work for me. I explain my thought process and the whole works on the YES Blog, so please join me there for my step-by-step pics.
But, here’s a quick peek at what I did:
Doesn’t look like much from this pic, does it? :D But, I had a great time. And I had to keep it simple so that I *would* use it.
Stop by and check it out, and let me know what you think! I always love to read your comments and thoughts.
HAPPY MONDAY!! Woohoo!
