Hop for Hope

Hi crafty friends, and welcome to a very special blog hop. A hop for hope. You should have arrived at my blog from the wonderful Laurel Beard‘s blog and your next stop on this hop will be the fabulous Nichol Spohrs blog.

As many of you may or may not know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The stamp set that we are all using was designed in May to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Fund (BCRF).  Please read the post on The CLASSroom blog to see how this beautiful stamp set all came to be and how YOU can help. –> LINK <–

This is the beautiful stamp and die set we all used:

In honor of this amazing hop, with these beautiful, brave women joined together today, I made a card! Yay!

Really simple, layered stamping with a water-colored pink ribbon. I turned my oval on it’s side for a little interest (which I thought was fun and made things flow much better).

And a close-up!

There is a lot of dimensional adhesive used to give it dimension. Sometimes that isn’t seen when looking at the card as it’s laying flat. But’ the flowers are at different heights and it’s quite fun.

All of the wonderful and talented people involved in this hop are listed below, so please stop and say hi and leave some love.

Thanks a Latte

I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today with this Thanks a Latte card featuring some really awesome Donna Salazar products!! It’s so fun using mixed media products on cards and Donna has a great line of products with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. Twine, tissue tape, pigment powders, ribbons, a denim art journal and so much more! Check out her full line HERE.

The Thanks a Latte stamp set with the coffee cup and sentiment is part of a set : Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Oh Frappe.  Being the coffee lover I am, it’s one of my favorites. ♥ I want to use it every day. But, that would be weird.

If you have a coffee lover in your house? This stamp set and coordinating die-set is a MUST have!

Here’s my little sneak peek of today’s card, with the full tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3l® blog.

It’s late at night and just “typing” typing the word latte makes me crave coffee…I AM SO BAD!! Hahha!!

Anyway! This card has a lot of super cute elements going on. The patterned paper is from Pebbles and is really fun. I used a die-set from Pretty Pink Posh to make the scalloped circle. I just adore it so much!  The coffee cup itself was water-colored. Wait…I’m giving all my secrets away! ;)

I really do hope that you’ll enjoy this card as much as I had fun MAKING it. I can’t wait to give it to my friend with a Starbucks gift card to tell her… “Thanks a Latte”. :D Now go grab a coffee.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sympathy

Sorry for the absence. While I’ve had some things posted here and there I’ve also had a lot of things going on in my personal life. A huge loss in my life. This has been a really difficult time. :( And, I haven’t been the only one to suffer a loss. It’s been a rough month. I thought it only fitting to make a Sympathy Card for my post on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog today.

LisaAdametz-Sorry-1

As usual I have a tutorial for this Sympathy Card. And I’m using some of the brand new Gelatos® too. They are really beautiful. So creamy, blendable, and the colors are incredibly saturated. You will all just LOVE them!

I wish so many people didn’t need Sympathy Cards right now, but the good news is, is that cards like the one above are pretty easy to make a few of (mix up the design a little) and have on hand.

Wishing you all love, laughter, and peace.

**The stamp set that I used is from Technique Tuesday and is called You’re So sweet, if you’re interested in purchasing.**

Grateful For You

Hi my crafty friends! I am so happy to share another Valentine’s card today – Grateful for You – on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today. This is for SURE one that can be replicated in a short amount of time, so be be sure to check out the blog today for my tutorial! :)

I wanted to make a card that wasn’t just for sweethearts, but also for friends, neighbors, and just people you wanted to say “thanks” to. And I really think that a Grateful for You card fits the bill. The stamp set that I used is from My Favorite Things and it’s called My Favorite Sentiments (which unfortunately, is no longer available). It’s so perfect for this card, though. Even has a little heart (which you’ll see when you pop on over to the blog…hint, hint).

Ooooh! Look at all that shimmery Glass Bead Glitter Gel! And that pretty glitter paper, too. Kinda makes you wanna see what the rest of the card looks like, doesn’t it? ;) I know, I know…I hate sneak peeks just as much as the rest of you. But all you have to do is say “hey, Lisa that Grateful for You card so looks nifty that I’m headed over to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog to look at it right now!” and I’ll be a happy gal. See how easy it is to make me smile? Not hard at all. :) <– look! I’m smiling already.

I hope that you ALL have a really wonderful Wednesday.  May the sun be shining brightly on you wherever you are.

Happy Veterans Day

Hello my friends! Wishing all of you a very Happy Veterans Day! I’m over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today sharing a card that I made for this Veterans Day.

I decided to make a card based on poppies and the poem “In Flanders Fields” by John McCrae. I love poppies so much (since they’re so prolific here in California), but just knowing that they have such a historical significance makes them so much more special. I used one of my very favorite Penny Black stamps Blooming Garden (30-155) and gave it a little more dimension.

Here’s a special peek of my Veterans Day card:

If I could give this card to each one of the people that served before me, with me, and after me…I would. God bless each and every one of you for your service and sacrifice to this great country and to all of our allies as well.

Please stop by the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog to read more about this card, how I made it, what supplies were used, etc.

Wishing ALL of my fellow veterans a very Happy Veterans Day.
