Fall Thank You

Hey there! It’s another busy day today. I have a Fall Thank You card that I made for the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today. This card features many of the exclusive products that we carry in our line by Donna Salazar.  Donna has a love for mixed media and what she loves to call “Girlie Grunge”. I happen to love it, too.

Here is my card:

I love the rustic, autumn feel of this card. Even though it’s still so very hot here in Nevada. I love that I can look at this card and be reminded that It WILL get cooler — eventually.

The products by Donna Salazar that I’m using for this Fall Thank You card are as followed: Pigment Powder in Brown, Gold, and Wine; Girlie Grunge Twine, Girlie Grunge Tissue Tape in Ash, and Donna’s Lace Ribbons.  I’m also using the 3D Foam Leaves.  (All Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L® products can be found HERE.)

The beautiful plaid patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn and is part of her Perfectly Plaid Fall Petite Paper Pack.

I hope that you’ll check out the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today to read how I made my Fall Thank You card. It’s super easy to replicate. :)

Hope that you all have a wonderful day today!

Hi there and welcome to the Girlie Grunge Blog Hop – Day 3, featuring the NEW products from Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®!

Girlie Grunge

We have 3 days of projects and inspiration all featuring Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products, and 4 fabulous prizes to give away! Join us August 6-8, each day six of our talented designers will dazzle and amaze you with ideas for cards, scrapbook pages and mixed media projects, for crafters of all skill levels.

I’ve created a card using some of my favorite products of Donna’s (but there are sooooo many to choose from!). I love finding different ways to use products and I loved using the pigment powders to color the ribbon roses and even just creating the ribbon roses themselves.

Some day I’m gonna go crazy and see just how far I can go with those pigments…just you wait! ;) But look at how beautifully gold that one rose is! And the deep, bronze-y brown is amazing.  (The pink and blue pigments are beautiful, too, by the way.)LisaAdametz-MostFave-082015-1

I also love using pieces of the organza ribbon as a way to give the patterned paper a subtle layer. It creates dimension and shine without a lot of bulk.

Take a closer look at these sweet roses! The ribbon itself creates the perfect petal:

Oh Happy Day

Oh Happy Day it  IS! It’s the weekend, right? And I have a brand spankin’ new tag over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today using a stamp set with that VERY sentiment. :)

It’s a mixed media tag with a LOT going on. No tutorial this time, sorry! But there’s watercoloring going on, I made a background using my new Gelatos®, used a stencil with Whipped Spackle…lots & lots of stuff!! The stamped flowers were created by watercoloring some paper, THEN stamped, and die-cut. I created the layered effect by using the different thicknesses of 3D Foam Squares that Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® has. So easy!

Here’s a side view… can you see all that dimension?!!?

Check out the full “Oh Happy Day” tag on the blog! I totally love this stamp set and know I’ll be using it lots more. So don’t be surprised to see it more often. :)

Hope that your day is a happy one!

Shiny Hello Card

Hey there! Hope you’re all having an amaaazing Friday and are ready for the weekend. I made a super Shiny Hello Card for the amazing team at Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. In case you didn’t know, they are MORE than just adhesives with their new partnership with Donna Salazar. So many fun ribbons, pigment powders, canvas elements. Really gorgeous stuff!

For my card today I used the gold pigment powder with the new E-Z Stars Refillable Runner. They just *SHINE* when used together. And I had created a very loose, but lovely watercolored background with hints of gold, purple, blue and pink. The die-cut “hello” was created by using the Adhesive Sheets with WOW! Embossing Powders Fab Foils. I had to first adhere the sheet to a piece of cardstock, die-cut it, then pull the release paper off and apply the foil. It turns out amazing every time.

Here is my Shiny Hello Card:

Please go to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog for more info on my card. More about what products I used, how I used them, etc.

Wishing you a very happy and wonderful weekend! ♥
