Watercolor Card

Hi again! I have a brand new post over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today. This one is special to me because it’s a watercolor card.

Now, that may not seem like a big deal to any of you, but I was trying to recreate an Aurora Borealis in watercolor and then use my adhesives as embellishments. I had a LOT of fun working on the Aurora. Looking at different photos and trying to get the colors blending and working just so. Then I wanted to use some of the many products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® as embellishments, not just as adhesives. So, that was fun, too.

Using watercolors to create an actual scene was kind of new to me. I usually use them in a more abstract way, or to color in a stamp. I hope you all like what I did with this:

I’d love for you to see the close-ups and alternate views of this watercolor card over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog. Please, go check it out and let me know what you think! Your comments always make my day. ♥

We’re expecting a MASSIVE storm here today, so I may be offline. But I appreciate each and every one of you.

Yep! I’m back again! :) Today I have a post over on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog where we are doing a Blog Hop with DCWV this week.

Here’s how to enter: stop by the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® each day this week and leave a comment. One random winner will be announced on December 15th and win our $50 prize pack and a prize from DCWV!  The blog hop will close on December 12th at 11PM. Good luck!

I have a really special project on the blog today as I’ve created packaging with the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® and DCWV products. Not just ANY packaging, but WINE packaging. ;) Now, if you’re not a wine drinker or don’t drink alcohol at all, that’s okay, too. You can use this packaging for sparkling cider or maybe a special bottle of olive oil if your recipient is a chef (or chef wanna be).

Here’s a small peek of what’s on the blog!

Don’t forget to head over to the blog to comment so that you can be entered to win.

If you have ANY questions at all about how I made this that aren’t covered in the tutorial, please feel free to e-mail me. I’m more than happy to answer any and all questions.

Have an amazing week! I hope you enjoy this project. :)
