Happy Thanksgiving

Just a short post today to wish all of my friends in the U.S. and abroad a VERY Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope that you all are surrounded by your loved ones, family, and/or friends. If you don’t live in the U.S. and don’t celebrate Thanksgiving then just know how grateful I am to call you my friend. That you stop by my little part of the web? Means so much to me.

Anyway, I made this card to give to E’s family. Y’know, to say “Thanks for everything” and all that. I made it based on a card that I saw Chari Moss make during a video for Lawn Fawn. (Click the word “video” to watch!) Hers is waaaaay more perfect than mine. Lemme just say that. :)

  ThankYouGlitter

I wish you all a wonderful day, wherever you are. And I hope that it is a happy day, it’s relaxing, full of good food, and spent with people that make you feel loved.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Just thought I’d show a little sumthin’-sumthin’ of what I attempt to do with my time. This was my Christmas card this year. I had a lot of fun designing it.

I used my Cuttlebug for the embossed background, to cut out the square, AND to emboss the snowman. (Love my Cuttlebug!) The paper is SU Real Red and the glitter on the snowflake is SU Dazzling Diamonds (the best glitter). The snowflake punch is one of Martha Stewart‘s (which I got at Michael’s for 40% off). I also used Stickles by Ranger, SU Stampin’ Pastels, and ribbon from Michaelsto embellish.
