Thanks a Latte

I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today with this Thanks a Latte card featuring some really awesome Donna Salazar products!! It’s so fun using mixed media products on cards and Donna has a great line of products with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. Twine, tissue tape, pigment powders, ribbons, a denim art journal and so much more! Check out her full line HERE.

The Thanks a Latte stamp set with the coffee cup and sentiment is part of a set : Essentials by Ellen Clear Stamps, Oh Frappe.  Being the coffee lover I am, it’s one of my favorites. ♥ I want to use it every day. But, that would be weird.

If you have a coffee lover in your house? This stamp set and coordinating die-set is a MUST have!

Here’s my little sneak peek of today’s card, with the full tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3l® blog.

It’s late at night and just “typing” typing the word latte makes me crave coffee…I AM SO BAD!! Hahha!!

Anyway! This card has a lot of super cute elements going on. The patterned paper is from Pebbles and is really fun. I used a die-set from Pretty Pink Posh to make the scalloped circle. I just adore it so much!  The coffee cup itself was water-colored. Wait…I’m giving all my secrets away! ;)

I really do hope that you’ll enjoy this card as much as I had fun MAKING it. I can’t wait to give it to my friend with a Starbucks gift card to tell her… “Thanks a Latte”. :D Now go grab a coffee.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Crazy Awesome

Hey everyone! I have a new card that is Crazy Awesome (heh!) up on the Ellen Hutson the CLASSroom blog today for #TexturalTuesdays. I’m using the stamp set “Crazy Awesome” by Concord & 9th and I am in LOOOOOVE with this stamp set! It’s just so stinkin’ versatile! I wish they’d come out with a die set for it. Are ya listenin’, Concord & 9th, peeps? Are ya? ;) I had such a good time making this card that I think I forgot all about making it full of texture. Whoopsie! But the colors from the Lawn Fawn paper and the markers…gahhhh….just made me swoon. Seriously!! How freakin’ happy is this card?!!?

I can see myself using this “Crazy Awesome” stamp set and trying to use a craft blade to and cut around the word and banner to attempt a shaker card and everything! I’m just loving this THAT much. (Note: the words trying and attempt.)

Enough with the wordiness. Here is the peek (or close-up) of the card:

So colorful and shiny!!! :)

The full tutorial of the card, as always, is up on the CLASSroom blog today. Complete with photos and all of my lovely words of wisdom. *ahem*  I’m never shy about what works and doesn’t work for me so I’ll fill you in on that, too.

I hope you like today’s card as much as I do!

Here is a full list of my supplies if you’d like to shop with me (I’m an affiliate with Ellen Hutson and make a small percentage off of any sales through these links and DO appreciate it very much.)

Mother’s Day

Hey!! Happy Tuesday :) I have a brand new card up on the CLASSroom blog for Ellen Hutson today and I figured with Mother’s Day this weekend I’d make a Mother’s Day card for my mama….y’know since she rocks and gave me life and all. I can’t imagine that having ME as a kid was easy, but I am forever grateful for putting up with my crap. She’s a rock star in my world.

I made her Mother’s Day card using tons of dimension and felt flowers since I know she loves them so much. I tried to make it a card from MY heart just for her. That’s what a Mother’s Day card should be, right?

Anyway, here’s a peek at the card.

Mother's Day 2016

There are so many tiny little details to this card. I really hope that you’ll check out the post and tutorial that I created to go along with it over at the CLASSroom today. There are plenty of photos to go along with it and I’ll have all the supplies listed below.

What do you have planned for Mother’s Day? I’m not a mom, so we’re (my sister and I) are taking my mother out to a place that she has selected for lunch on Sunday. My mom is at an age where she doesn’t really like to go out late (past 5:00pm….hahha!!), so lunch it is. Plus, my mom and I will be doing the Susan Komen Walk for the Cure the day before and I think she could be a wee bit tired. ;) Should be a fun weekend.

I hope that you all have a blessed Mother’s Day, whether you are a mother or not. Know that you ARE loved, cherished, and treasured. ♥

Many Thanks

Hey everyone! I have a brand new #TexturalTuesdays card featuring GAUZE and the “Many Thanks” die set on the the CLASSroom blog today for Ellen Hutson today.

This card was so much fun to make and I love using products in ways that people don’t always expect. I’m a huge fan of using gauze in my mixed media projects, but I don’t think that card makers would expect to use them for their projects. This gauze comes in a ginormous pack from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and is part of the Donna Salazar Mixed Media line for the company. I, personally, am a HUGE fan. ;)

Of course, I’m going to just share a little sneak peek of my project today, but I really really hope that you’ll check it out. It’s a great project and a quick tutorial today.

The sentiment that I used is part of the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies collection by Julie Ebersole and is called Many Thanks and it’s just so beautiful. I know I’ll be using it quite often. Dies like this are just so timeless. I don’t give out Thank You cards enough and should really start.

The entire project can be can be seen on the CLASSroom blog . All my #TexturalTuesdays posts can be seen there, every other Tuesday. :)

My Many Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what’s new. I hope you all have a great day! Below are the supplies that I used on the card in case you are interested:

Hello Spring

Hey everyone! I have a new card – Hello Spring – on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today! When I think of Spring I think of my mom’s beautiful daffodil’s that pop up every year. They are so bright, sunny and beautiful. Almost like a ray of sunshine without fail every year in her yard. My mother has such a green thumb, which I sorely lack. Lisa = black thumb. Hahha!!

My Hello Spring card is what I hope a reflection of the beautiful daffodils that I see every year in her yard.  They sure make me smile and I hope that it will make YOU smile too. This is a little sneak peek, as usual. So the pretty daffodils (other than the stalks) can be seen on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog.

I have a bit of an addiction to watercoloring, so this is a combination of two types: watercolor pencils and Peerless Watercolors. And I love the way the two work together. Heck, there are no rules…why not play with *all* of them?! Do what you love, I say.

I think that this Hello Spring card could be used for so many things, too. Don’t you? It’s just a bright, happy card. Why not make something similar and send it someone whose day needs brightening?

Happy Spring and a Blessed Easter, too. †
