For my projects today I’m using some really awesome new coordinating new products! I looooove dies that coordinate with stamps, don’t you? I also used one of the new die sets as a stand alone project.

My first card features the oh-so fabulous Santa from the Tis the Season Stamps . I LOVE this Santa!! I used the stamp and coordinating die from Tis the Season Dies to cut this cutie out 3 times.  And I used another super cute stamp from Santa’s Flight to really make the card “POP!”

LisaAdametz-Ho3-10202015-1Santa’s shades were made shiny were Black Enamel Accents and White Enamel Accents were used for the pom-poms on the hats. He was colored using Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft® Art GRIP® Color Pencils.

This is the second card I made and I neeeeeeeded to get watercolor-y. :) So I broke out my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set.  After cutting the watercolor paper to size I loosely watercolored a background using colors I thought would be pleasing for Fall/Autumn.

LisaAdametz--ThankfulGourds-10202015-1Place a piece of watercolor paper onto a piece of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Adhesive Sheets, remove the liner paper and burnish well. Place your die on to the paper and run through the die-cutting machine. By doing this you have a perfectly die-cut piece with a sticky side that still has a liner on it  — which can be removed when you are ready. I love these sheets!

I then very lightly watercolored the blooms and leaves from the Gourd-jus Dies set. After adding some thin strips of Little B washi, I simply adhered everything down — lifting the liner from the backs of the die-cut pieces and adding teensy pieces of foam to the back of the falling leaf.  There’s not much left to completing this card. Stamping the sentiment and adding the embellishments…but the finished result is so lovely.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today as much as *I* enjoyed making them for you. These blog hops are so fun. Make sure you hop on over to the phenomenal SANDY ALLNOCK’S Blog to see what gloriousness she has created!

If you get lost, please visit the CLASSroom blog for a complete list of all the designers.

Happy hoppin’!

Hello Card

Hi everyone! I have a little Hello Card that I made using some of the brand new adhesive products for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® on their blog today.

I always enjoy challenging myself to think a little outside the box with products. And this Hello Card worked out just perfectly. I’m still crushing pretty hard on the whole black, Kraft, gold color scheme – so please forgive me. I can’t seem to shake it just yet. And I love the added interest of the vellum on this card. The dots with the diagonal stripes behind it just make me happy.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! Doesn’t it just make you wanna go up to some random stranger and say “Hello”?!!? No? Well, okay then. Maybe it’s just me and I’m getting a little loopy from it being SO late. ;)

Anyway! I do hope that you’ll pop on over to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog and check out how I made my cutie little Hello Card since I made y’all a little tutorial over there. I promise that you won’t hate it. :)

Hope that you all have a FABULOUS Monday. Drink lots and lots of coffee! I intend to slurp down at least a pot or two myself. ;)

Happy Dad’s Day!

Happy Dad’s Day!!! Yay!! And I have a super awesome Father’s Day Card that I’ve created just for this special day over on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Blog.

My dad is my hero, my pops, the guy who (to me) knows everything. He should be on every game show because he just seems to know more than anybody else I’ve ever known. He’s just crazy smart, and oh-so-funny, he makes me laugh in ways no one else could ever do. I wanted to be JUST like him when I was younger. He ruled the world…my dad.

I hate that I live in another state from him and my mom. While it’s not that far…I feel oceans apart. My family means so much to me and I bet they think otherwise. They’ve given me life, love, shelter, a hand to hold, a hug when I needed it, and faith when I had none.

My dad worked his butt off doing crap he didn’t want to do later in life. His knees hurt and he was tired.  But he did it to provide for he and my mom. He’s a good man. And I love that man.

I hope that you will never, ever doubt how much I love you, Dad. And I hope that your day is as wonderful, awesome, and fantastic as YOU are. Happy Dad’s Day.

You Rock

Hi there! I’m sharing a new card on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today using the You Rock limited edition die from Essentials by Ellen. It’s so super cute!

It was a lot of fun trying (for me) to create a clean and graphic card, as it’s really not my thing. I love mixed media! So trying NOT to get inky was soooo hard! Lol! I wonder if the CAS people think that mixed media is hard? Hmmm… ;)

Trying to get everything lined up just so required way more patience than I have. But that’s where the MyStik® Repositionable Dots came in handy. I was able to use this great product to keep things lined up until I was ready to really stick things down. *whew*

The full pic and tutorial for my You Rock card is over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog. I hope you’ll check it out.

It’s a New Card Monday

Hey there! It’s a New Card Monday!! I’m so proud of the one that I have to share on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today. I gotta tell ya, I’m not always super thrilled by the cards that I make. Sometimes I like parts of them, sometimes I like the technique, or sometimes I wish I could just throw them away (it happens), but I really do LOVE the way that this card turned out. Lots of cool stuff going on with it, too.

Here’s your sneak peek:

This card is really dimensional, shiny, shimmery and super pretty. I hope that you’ll all go over to the Scrapbook Adhesives blog to see the whole thing. :)

I’ll also have a UStream this week with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® THIS Wednesday at 6:00 PM PST. But check out THEIR blog just in case things change.  Maybe “New Card Monday” will be something I’ll have to do every week….hmmm….I’ll give it some thought.

Wishing you ALL an amazing week. xoxo
