Busy week! I’m back again with another project to share. :) Today’s is for the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Design Team. It’s a Love Tag.
Sometimes I don’t feel like making a card or a canvas and I love the vertical space of a tag. Especially the #10 tags (8 ½” L x 4 ⅛” W). I make my own using chipboard so they can hold up to all my schtuff (haha!), but you can always buy them, too.
For my tag today I wanted to make something really special, but NOT especially difficult. I like to use unconventional colors and find different ways of using things. Try to think outside the box…or frame in the case of this Love Tag. ;)
As usual…just a peek. But I promise it will be worth it. ;)So many cool things on this Love Tag! Texture, shimmer, color. This is a tag that begs to be touched…to BE loved! Are you getting the idea here?
Please check out the step-by-step on how I made it, with some additional photos on the BLOG.
And, as always, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to hear from you.
Hi again! I have a brand new post over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today. This one is special to me because it’s a watercolor card.
Now, that may not seem like a big deal to any of you, but I was trying to recreate an Aurora Borealis in watercolor and then use my adhesives as embellishments. I had a LOT of fun working on the Aurora. Looking at different photos and trying to get the colors blending and working just so. Then I wanted to use some of the many products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® as embellishments, not just as adhesives. So, that was fun, too.
Using watercolors to create an actual scene was kind of new to me. I usually use them in a more abstract way, or to color in a stamp. I hope you all like what I did with this:
I’d love for you to see the close-ups and alternate views of this watercolor card over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog. Please, go check it out and let me know what you think! Your comments always make my day. ♥
We’re expecting a MASSIVE storm here today, so I may be offline. But I appreciate each and every one of you.
Hello my friends! Wishing all of you a very Happy Veterans Day! I’m over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today sharing a card that I made for this Veterans Day.
I decided to make a card based on poppies and the poem “In Flanders Fields” by John McCrae. I love poppies so much (since they’re so prolific here in California), but just knowing that they have such a historical significance makes them so much more special. I used one of my very favorite Penny Black stamps Blooming Garden (30-155) and gave it a little more dimension.
Here’s a special peek of my Veterans Day card:
If I could give this card to each one of the people that served before me, with me, and after me…I would. God bless each and every one of you for your service and sacrifice to this great country and to all of our allies as well.
Please stop by the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog to read more about this card, how I made it, what supplies were used, etc.
Wishing ALL of my fellow veterans a very Happy Veterans Day.
Hi crafty friends! :) I can’t believe it’s already a new week (even though it’s already Tuesday!) I’m sooo super excited to be a part of a Blog Hop with Penny Black and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® today. I love Penny Black stamps. As most of you know and this week the ladies of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® are getting to play with some of their new Holiday releases. And let me just tell you? They are BEAUTIFUL! Swoooooon-worthy!
The two stamp sets I used for the sneak peek of my card below (gotta get ya over to the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog, right?!! ;) ) are Sprightly and Beauty of the Seasons.
So, go check out the card and get chance to win some really awesome goodies! I love blog hops. Don’t you? :)
Today is my last day as Guest Designer on the Penny Black blog. I hope that you’ve enjoyed the different creations I’ve had the pleasure of creating for Penny Black. It’s been a fun week. I tried to make each day VERY different and to make the most of their beautiful stamps, dies, and stencils.
My last post is no different. Well, it is. Meaning, that is is VERY different. You know what I mean? Hahah! I hope you enjoy this last sneak peek. It’s my way of saying “Thank you” for your support, comments, love, pins, tweets, facebook shares, and everything else. Trust me when I say that I appreciate ALL of it. You all mean so, so much to me.
This card goes live shortly after midnight on the PB Blog 6/27 – which is tonight (or tomorrow, depending how you look at it).
Thanks for being there every day for me this week. I wish I could hug you ALL!! ♥
