Hey!! Happy Tuesday :) I have a brand new card up on the CLASSroom blog for Ellen Hutson today and I figured with Mother’s Day this weekend I’d make a Mother’s Day card for my mama….y’know since she rocks and gave me life and all. I can’t imagine that having ME as a kid was easy, but I am forever grateful for putting up with my crap. She’s a rock star in my world.
I made her Mother’s Day card using tons of dimension and felt flowers since I know she loves them so much. I tried to make it a card from MY heart just for her. That’s what a Mother’s Day card should be, right?
Anyway, here’s a peek at the card.
There are so many tiny little details to this card. I really hope that you’ll check out the post and tutorial that I created to go along with it over at the CLASSroom today. There are plenty of photos to go along with it and I’ll have all the supplies listed below.
What do you have planned for Mother’s Day? I’m not a mom, so we’re (my sister and I) are taking my mother out to a place that she has selected for lunch on Sunday. My mom is at an age where she doesn’t really like to go out late (past 5:00pm….hahha!!), so lunch it is. Plus, my mom and I will be doing the Susan Komen Walk for the Cure the day before and I think she could be a wee bit tired. ;) Should be a fun weekend.
I hope that you all have a blessed Mother’s Day, whether you are a mother or not. Know that you ARE loved, cherished, and treasured. ♥
Hi everyone! I’m posting a card that I have over on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog today that’s part of the Altenew 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop. While my personal blog is not part of the hop, my work is, so I wanted to make sure that anyone that visits my blog checks out all the links, sponsors, and amazing artists that are listed on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® blog.
Without further ado, here is the card that I made using the beautiful stamps from Altenew:
I am using two wonderful stamp sets from Altenew: Botanical Garden and Painted Inspiration . (My Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products are listed in full on their blog.)

Hey everyone! I have a brand new #TexturalTuesdays card featuring GAUZE and the “Many Thanks” die set on the the CLASSroom blog today for Ellen Hutson today.
This card was so much fun to make and I love using products in ways that people don’t always expect. I’m a huge fan of using gauze in my mixed media projects, but I don’t think that card makers would expect to use them for their projects. This gauze comes in a ginormous pack from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and is part of the Donna Salazar Mixed Media line for the company. I, personally, am a HUGE fan. ;)
Of course, I’m going to just share a little sneak peek of my project today, but I really really hope that you’ll check it out. It’s a great project and a quick tutorial today.
The sentiment that I used is part of the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies collection by Julie Ebersole and is called Many Thanks and it’s just so beautiful. I know I’ll be using it quite often. Dies like this are just so timeless. I don’t give out Thank You cards enough and should really start.
The entire project can be can be seen on the CLASSroom blog . All my #TexturalTuesdays posts can be seen there, every other Tuesday. :)
My Many Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what’s new. I hope you all have a great day! Below are the supplies that I used on the card in case you are interested:
I have a brand new #TexturalTuesdays card that I’ve aptly named “Fabulous You” for the CLASSroom today. Plenty of beautiful shine and subtle texture on this one today. I’ve really been enjoying using my colored pencils and may have to upgrade. Hahha!!
Here is today’s sneak peek:
Kind of a BIG peek!
The words are from Julie Ebersole’s beautiful die set Totally Fabulous and I created the word “You” from the Basic Alpha Set, to create “Fabulous You”. I thought that would be kind of fun and just a tiny bit different.
This card has two different colors of foil and patterned papers from three different companies. Stitched dies, embossing on patterned paper, inking…and all kinds of fun stuff!! If you want to see how I made it? I do have a tutorial (a wordy one) over on the CLASSroom blog today with lots of pics. ;) And I’d love it if you checked it out.
Hoping that YOU have a fabulous day!
