Hi friends! Today I’m back up on the CLASSroom blog with another #TexturalTuesdays post, but it’s extra special since we’re Celebrating with Concord & 9th since it’s their first anniversary!!
Check out that savings too! Click the box to be taken directly to the sale. But…only after looking at my card. ;)
The quality of stamps and dies from Concord & 9th is second to none. They are so on trend with their designs, too. I knew almost immediately what I wanted to create when I received my products. My heart pitter pattered!! ♥
I love that so many people are Celebrating with Concord & 9th and that the Ellen Hutson, LLC team is able to play along this week. It’s fun to see what other creative people do with the same products.
Please check out the CLASSroom blog to see how I made today’s card. Thank you, as always, for joining me today!
Hey there! It’s another #texturaltuesday over on the CLASSroom blog for Ellen Hutson, LLC and I’ve made a super cool Felt Flower on a canvas that I hope that you’ll check out. The link is right HERE <—.
Today’s project is a feature that all the Ellen Hutson designers are doing this week and that is to work with felt in their projects. It was really fun! I always love making felt flowers and the canvas that I made for today is certainly no exception.
Here is a look at the canvas with the felt flower.
The die for my flower is from Memory Box (it is the Plush Ranunculus) and the felt is from Taylored Expressions (the assorted yellow -orange).
Making projects like this is so much fun! I was able to get super painty with the background. And, though I got carried away with the sequins, I really like how this turned out. The big, bold felt flower really makes this small canvas so happy.
The full tutorial and *tons* of photos for how I made this canvas is over on the CLASSroom blog , so please head over there for more information or if you’d like to just see how I made the canvas.
As usual, all of my supplies are listed below. If you have any questions on the products, please send me an e-mail or comment below. Thank you!! ♥
Whoa…another post?!! ;) I happen to have a Father’s Day card for my #TexturalTuesdays series on the CLASSroom blog for Ellen Hutson today. This card came together much easier than most really. I’ve kinda had a “thing” with circles, lately. My dear friend, Carisa, and I were even discussing this when I showed her a peek of the card. It’s just something I can’t get out out my head. When I was thinking about making my dad’s Father’s Day card I just knew this was the route I was going to go.
Making cards for men is just so hard, but when it’s your dad? You really want it to be extra special, too. I just have a heck of a time making cards for my dad. He thinks I’m the world’s greatest card-maker, but he would look at me sideways if I made him a card with golf clubs on it…or a moustache…or…baby animals….ya catch my drift? I still have to make it just so.
That’s why THIS card coming together so easy (mostly) kind of freaked me out. For the “mostly” part you have to check out the CLASSroom blog and read the full tutorial and all my deep, dark secrets. ;) In the meantime, here’s a full look at the card. No peek…I love this card too much. ♥
It’s cool, huh? So even though it’s not quite Father’s Day yet, I think he’s gonna like this one. I wish you all could touch it. But my pops might have something to say about that. ;)
Thank you for stopping by today!
Below is a FULL list of supplies (some are duplicates), some were given to me for my use as a Designer and others I purchased at my own expense. Anything you click on and purchase will be directed to my affiliate link for which I make a small percentage and helps me keep my site run bug-free.
Hey everyone! I have a new card that is Crazy Awesome (heh!) up on the Ellen Hutson the CLASSroom blog today for #TexturalTuesdays. I’m using the stamp set “Crazy Awesome” by Concord & 9th and I am in LOOOOOVE with this stamp set! It’s just so stinkin’ versatile! I wish they’d come out with a die set for it. Are ya listenin’, Concord & 9th, peeps? Are ya? ;) I had such a good time making this card that I think I forgot all about making it full of texture. Whoopsie! But the colors from the Lawn Fawn paper and the markers…gahhhh….just made me swoon. Seriously!! How freakin’ happy is this card?!!?
I can see myself using this “Crazy Awesome” stamp set and trying to use a craft blade to and cut around the word and banner to attempt a shaker card and everything! I’m just loving this THAT much. (Note: the words trying and attempt.)
Enough with the wordiness. Here is the peek (or close-up) of the card:
So colorful and shiny!!! :)
The full tutorial of the card, as always, is up on the CLASSroom blog today. Complete with photos and all of my lovely words of wisdom. *ahem* I’m never shy about what works and doesn’t work for me so I’ll fill you in on that, too.
I hope you like today’s card as much as I do!
Here is a full list of my supplies if you’d like to shop with me (I’m an affiliate with Ellen Hutson and make a small percentage off of any sales through these links and DO appreciate it very much.)
Hey!! Happy Tuesday :) I have a brand new card up on the CLASSroom blog for Ellen Hutson today and I figured with Mother’s Day this weekend I’d make a Mother’s Day card for my mama….y’know since she rocks and gave me life and all. I can’t imagine that having ME as a kid was easy, but I am forever grateful for putting up with my crap. She’s a rock star in my world.
I made her Mother’s Day card using tons of dimension and felt flowers since I know she loves them so much. I tried to make it a card from MY heart just for her. That’s what a Mother’s Day card should be, right?
Anyway, here’s a peek at the card.
There are so many tiny little details to this card. I really hope that you’ll check out the post and tutorial that I created to go along with it over at the CLASSroom today. There are plenty of photos to go along with it and I’ll have all the supplies listed below.
What do you have planned for Mother’s Day? I’m not a mom, so we’re (my sister and I) are taking my mother out to a place that she has selected for lunch on Sunday. My mom is at an age where she doesn’t really like to go out late (past 5:00pm….hahha!!), so lunch it is. Plus, my mom and I will be doing the Susan Komen Walk for the Cure the day before and I think she could be a wee bit tired. ;) Should be a fun weekend.
I hope that you all have a blessed Mother’s Day, whether you are a mother or not. Know that you ARE loved, cherished, and treasured. ♥
